Harvard’s Welcome to Your City (WTYC) is the Harvard Alumni Association’s annual fall welcome night, hosted by local Harvard Clubs and Shared Interest Groups all around the world. The event was created to help Harvard grads who are new to a city plug into their local alumni community through casual conversation and low-key networking. Think friendly hellos and real connections, not a formal program.
Whether you’re brand-new to town or you’ve called Austin home for years, this is a great way to show up, meet new people, and help welcome our newest alumni to the city.
For September, we’re keeping it extra Austin by combining Welcome to Your City with our monthly Taco Tuesday, which is our longtime, casual, family-friendly series that hops around different taco spots across town.
There is no up-front cost – tacos and drinks are on your own at the event.
No pre-registration is needed; just pop by Meanwhile Brewing at 3901 Promontory Point Dr, Austin, TX 78744 anytime between 7pm and 9pm to grab tacos, say hello, and meet fellow Harvard folks in a relaxed, all-ages setting.
