HarvardKey: New Login for Clubs and SIGs on Sept. 22

ANNOUNCING A NEW LOGIN FOR CLUBS’ AND SIGS’ WEBSITES BEGINNING SEPTEMBER 22

WHAT IS CHANGING? Harvard is implementing a new authentication system for alumni, students, and staff called HarvardKey. You will be required to create new login credentials by claiming your HarvardKey, beginning on September 22. Your HarvardKey will become your new Harvard login for life.

WHY IS HARVARD MAKING THIS CHANGE? Harvard is enhancing its data security across all platforms. HarvardKey provides best-in-class security features, ensuring your identity and personal information are protected at the highest level.

HOW DO I CLAIM MY HARVARDKEY? Beginning September 22, when you visit a Club or SIG website, you will be prompted to create a new login name and password when you register for a Club or SIG event, pay membership dues, update your profile, make a donation to a Club or SIG, or search a site’s membership directory.

WHAT WILL I NEED TO CLAIM MY HARVARDKEY? 1 10-character Harvard Alumni Association ID number, also known as HAA ID (include all zeros) 2 Last name 3 Harvard degree year(s) (any will work) Your HAA ID number can be found in HarvardKey-related emails that you have received as well as in the footer of recent emails from the Harvard Alumni Association, including the Harvard Alumni Gazette and eVENTS.
