Adrian is a culinary historian and certified BBQ judge who has spoken to a number of Stanford alumni chapters across the country, and each has enthusiastically endorsed him, so this should be a great event!  His recently released book, Soul Food: The Surprising Story of an American Cuisine, One Plate at a Time, is now in its third printing.  In his previous life as a lawyer he was special assistant to President Clinton and senior policy analyst for Colorado Governor Bill Ritter, Jr.
