Change Your Life Forever with Tiny Habits:  Human behavior is not as complicated as most believe, and the received wisdom about habits is often wrong. BJ Fogg will share key insights and surprises about how behavior works, based on his research and hands-on practice in coaching thousands of people in creating new habits.

BJ Fogg, MA ’95, PhD ’97, is director of the Persuasive Technology Lab at Stanford, where he teaches behavior design. An experimental psychologist, Fogg's work empowers people to think clearly about the psychology of behavior and then to convert those insights into real-world outcomes. BJ has created a new model of human behavior change, which guides research and design in the real world. He is the author of Persuasive Technology: Using Computers to Change What We Think and Do, a book that explains how computers can motivate and influence people. His upcoming publication is "5 Secrets of Behavior Change." He is the founder and director of Mobile Health, an annual gathering at Stanford. A veteran of SXSWi, Professor Fogg will be delivering a featured session at SXSWi this year titled "Why Tiny Habits Give Big Results." More at www.bjfogg.com and http://captology.stanford.edu.
